Things to remember when choosing interior colour

Only by considering few things you can transform the entire appearance of your home with colors.
1. The area of the room if smaller area, go for lighter colour with some mirror effect can make room look bigger.
2. If the area is bigger then u can combine two or more colours in a room just by highlighting some area of wall.
3. The amount of light entering in the room, if a warm room apply cool colour this gives a relax feeling. If a cooler room(low natural lighting) can go for bright colours and give good artificial light effects.
4. For dark colours on wall always go for oil warnish before u go for applying colour. With oil warnish u do not find brush stains on wall.
5. The existing furniture in that room.
6. The room to be painted and its correlation with the rest of the house.

Significance Of Colour And Its Effect

Blue: Represents peace, tranquility, calm, stability, harmony, unity, trust, truth, confidence, conservatism, security, cleanliness, order, loyalty, sky, water, cold and technology.

Black: It represents power, sophistication, formality, elegance, wealth.

Green: one of most-often cited favorite colors. It represents nature, environment, health, good luck, renewal, youth, vigor, spring, generosity, fertility.

Orange: Is a combination of yellow and red. Orange is considered a warm color like red, but to a lesser extent; orange expresses energy. It symbolizes balance, warmth, enthusiasm, vibrancy, flamboyancy, demanding of attention, and is religious too.

Purple: Represents royalty, spirituality, nobility, ceremony, mystery, transformation, wisdom, enlightenment, cruelty, arrogance. Purple is considered an exotic color.

Red: Is associate red with Love, valentines, desire, speed, strength.

White: It represents reverence, purity, simplicity, cleanliness, peace, humility, precision, innocence, youth, birth, winter, snow, good, sterility and marriage.

Yellow: Represents joy, happiness, optimism, idealism, imagination, hope, sunshine, summer, gold, philosophy, spirituality and inspiration.

Colour plays an important role in one's life, it sets the emotional tone and ambiance of a space, focusing or diverting attention, modulating the space to feel either large or small, breaks up and defines the space.
